Review Ches Editions The Ultimate Oil for Hair Edition 29 Hair Oil
GIRL IN STYLE ILLUSTRATION OF CHES EDITIONS' THE ULTIMATE OIL FOR HAIR IN EDITION 29

The black velvet dress was hanging on her bedroom door; she smiled grabbing a robe, meandered to the bathroom and shut the door. She was sure that somewhere in the distance she could hear, ‘we leave at 8!’. It was white noise. Turning the shower on, she let the gentle steam fill the room as she reached for the beautiful glass bottle on the counter. It seemed to fit in the palm of her hand as though it had been made to fit there. Unscrewing the delicate gold cap, she lifted the pipette out of the bottle and placed it to her nose, ‘1,2,3,4…’ she inhaled; the scent of Jasmine, Mandarin and Patchouli filling her nose. As if by magic, she was transported to Grasse; her happy place. In her mind’s eye she could see fields of perfume; the majesty of the sun on her face and those glorious, glorious flowers. She exhaled; a long, slow breath feeling her shoulders relax. Dropping a few pipettes of the glass bottles’ elixir; golden oil, into her palms, she rubbed her hands together letting the scent fill the bathroom amidst the steam. And then, she ran her hands through her hair as the smooth, silky oil quenched each strands’ thirst. Massaging her scalp, she let her hair fall around her shoulders - its now silkened texture from the oil brushing her skin. She smiled; what a beautiful evening it would be.

Review of The Ultimate Oil for Hair Ches Editions
THE ULTIMATE OIL FOR HAIR BY CHES EDITIONS

It is widely known that I am obsessional about natural beauty. My obsession started at some point amidst my time on set and working with both fashion and beauty brands - I suddenly realised that the only products that were improving my skin and hair happened to have no nasties in them. And I knew all about the nasties (the downside to being 'in' the industry). And before you ask, yes that extended to finding the right shade of my signature red lipstick in a non-toxic formula.

Every time it has come to my hair though, it's been a struggle to find something that really improves it over time - or even just keeps it well-nourished. Oils were too oily and serums seemed to be full of chemicals that worked short-term but longterm seemed to do more harm than good.

Enter The Ultimate Oil for Hair.

Call me a perfectionist (as though you'd call me anything else...) but to me, I want my beauty products to do more than just what they're supposed to. Ok so not so much a perfectionist as demanding then...I love my hair products to smell gorgeous too and there's just something so sensual about oil and essential oils. They're almost an art like perfume. Each Ches 'Edition' is a different scent and numbered based on numerology.

'Edition 29' of The Ultimate Oil for Hair smells of Jasmine, Mandarin and Patchouli (with no synthetic fragrance).

And I know what you're thinking, hair oils are oily. Well, it's an oil but no, this has a thin yet nourishing texture that really glides and almost feels a bit like a serum. On my fine, naturally straight hair, the ends drink it up dry and if I use it as a treatment for growth (oh yes it works) I put it on about 5 hours before washing my hair.

After some time using it, one notices an improvement in hair texture, new growth and just beautifully shiny hair. My Godmother uses it after she washes and dries and says she can't do her hair without it now; it makes her coloured hair so much silkier.

The sensuality and luxury of CHES Editions as a brand is not only its dedication to the highest-grade, 100% natural ingredients but also attention to detail down to The Ultimate Oil's reusable glass bottles (emblematic of a perfume bottle) and gorgeous red boxes.

So next time you're having a bathroom-spa-moment (and we really do need more of them), try this on for size (read: pour it on your hair, it's delicious).
